フットボール界屈指の名将として知られるルイス・フェリペ・スコラーリ氏(74)が監督業からの引退を表明した。

今シーズン途中からアトレチコ・パラナエンセを率いるスコラーリ氏は、カンピオナート・ブラジレイロ・セリエAの最終節ボタフォゴ戦を3-0で勝利。これにより、6位フィニッシュを決めたチームは来シーズンのコパ・リベルタドーレス出場権を手にした。
その試合後に同氏は監督業からの引退を表明した。

「これは私の人生だ。この章をとても良い形で終えることができる。フットボール人生において思ってもみなかったことをすべて果たせた気がするよ。そして今日ここで、私はそれを終える」

2002年の日韓ワールドカップ(W杯)でブラジル代表を優勝に導いた名将として知られる“フェリッポン”の愛称も持つスコラーリ氏。
1982年の監督キャリアスタート以降は、ブラジル国内の名門クラブをはじめチェルシー、ポルトガル代表、ジュビロ磐田、広州FCなど20以上のクラブチームと代表チームの指揮官を歴任。世界中で様々なタイトルを獲得してきた。

なお、偉大なる監督キャリアに終止符を打ったスコラーリ氏だが、来シーズン以降はアトレチコ・パラナエンセのテクニカルディレクター職を務めることになる。

アジアNo.1にもなった広州FC、中国の大手不動産会社「恒大集団」の破綻で崩壊の可能性

中国サッカー界を牽引してきた広州FCだが、クラブ崩壊の危機に陥っている。 広州恒大として知られていたが、今シーズンから中国サッカー協会の規定により企業名をチーム名に入れられないことから名称を広州FCに変更していた。 その親会社は、中国最大手の不動産開発会社である「恒大集団」。2010年にチームを傘下に入れ、広州恒大として活動していた。 かつては“爆買い”として世界中に名を知らしめた中国スーパーリーグ。その中でもトップを走っていたチームは、ヨーロッパで活躍していた選手たちを補強。パラグアイ代表FWルーカス・バリオスやイタリア代表FWアレッサンドロ・ディアマンティ、FWアルベルト・ジラルディーノ、ブラジル代表MFパウリーニョ、コロンビア代表FWジャクソン・マルティネスなどを順次獲得していた。 また、指導者にも世界的な選手を連れてきており、ユベントスやイタリア代表を率いたマルチェロ・リッピ氏や元イタリア代表DFファビオ・カンナバーロ氏、元ブラジル代表監督であるルイス・フェリペ・スコラーリ氏らを招へい。買収した翌年の2011年から7連覇を含む中国スーパーリーグを8度制覇。AFCチャンピオンズリーグ(ACL)でも2013年と2015年に優勝するなど、アジアでもトップクラブに成り上がっていった。 レアル・マドリーやミラン、バイエルンなどとも提携するなど、ビッグクラブへと近づいていっていた広州FCだが、親会社である「恒大集団」が経営破綻に近づいているという。 創業者の許家印氏が、一代で大企業へと成長させた「恒大集団」。2010年以降は不動産以外にも電気自動車やインターネット業界へも進出。現在の年商は7000億元(約12兆円)を超えている。 2020年の売上高も7232億元(約12兆3000億円)、利益は314億元(約5300億円)とされているが、新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)の蔓延が不動産業界を直撃。不動産価格が下がったことを受け、金融における流動性リスクが起こったため、破綻に追い込まれてしまった。 中国『Sup China』の報道によれば、今年の初めの時点で負債総額は8700億元(約14兆8000億円)にものぼっているとのこと。中国政府へと救済を求めており、広東省はクラブの10〜15%の株式を引き継ぐことを目指しており、国営企業がクラブの残りの部分を買収することになるという。 一時期のようなビッグネームはチームに所属していないが、帰化をして中国代表としてプレーするFWアラン、FWアロイージオ、DFティアス・ブラウニングらは所属。しかし、チームは高給の選手を放出し、資金調達に動くとのこと。また、賃金が未払いとなっていることから、多くの選手が中国から離れようと考えているとのことだ。 中国では、2020シーズンの中国スーパーリーグ王者である江蘇FC(かつての江蘇蘇寧)が破綻し、チームを解散。江蘇FCも“爆買い”で鳴らしたクラブだったが、インテルのオーナーでもある蘇寧電器グループの経営も不振となっていた。 この先どのような形になるのかは現時点では不明。しかし、中国サッカー界のみならず、中国の産業界にも厳しい時代が舞い込んでいるようだ。 2021.09.21 13:02 Tue

ブラジル代表メンバー発表! 26名に増枠された中、眼窩骨折のGKエデルソンは選外…エンドリッキら招集【コパ・アメリカ2024】

17歳ブラジル代表FWエンドリッキにアクシデント…肉離れでコパ・アメリカに不安

パウメイラスのブラジル代表FWエンドリッキのコパ・アメリカ2024出場が危ぶまれている。スペイン『アス』が伝えた。 今夏のレアル・マドリー加入が内定している17歳の神童エンドリッキ。3月には国際親善試合のイングランド代表戦でセレソン初ゴールを決め、続くスペイン代表戦では2戦連発とその怪物ぶりを垣間見せていた。 6月開催のコパ・アメリカを戦うブラジル代表メンバーにも順当に選出されたが、15日に行われたコパ・リベルタドーレスのインデペンディエンテ・デル・バジェ戦でアクシデントが発生。右足に不快感を覚え、その後はプレー続行不可となり、60分に担架に運ばれてピッチを後にする事態となった。 試合終了後、パウメイラスのアベウ・フェレイラ監督はエンドリッキの負傷についてコメント。本人の様子を明かすと同時に、軽傷を願った。 「どうなったかはまだわからない。彼がとても辛そうだったのは知っている。彼は最高の選手だし、我々を大いに助けてくれるから、深刻なケガでないことを祈る。彼は我々にとっての模範だ」 『アス』によると、今回のケガは肉離れの可能性があり、2〜3週間ほどの離脱になるという予想。コパ・アメリカまでに回復できるか微妙な状況だ。 また、コパ・アメリカ後にマドリーへ向かうエンドリッキは、パウメイラスで過ごす時間が残りわずかとなっているが、ブラジル南部で発生した大規模な洪水の影響によりカンピオナート・ブラジレイロ・セリエAの第7節と第8節が延期に。そのためブラジルでのプレーは公式戦残り3試合となっていた。 しかし、負傷の程度次第では、今回のインデペンディエンテ・デル・バジェ戦がパウメイラスでのラストゲームに。コパ・アメリカ前の復帰は叶うのだろうか。 2024.05.16 20:17 Thu
