▽ビジャレアルは30日、エスパニョールからスペイン人MFハビ・フエゴ(34)を獲得したことを発表した。契約期間は2020年6月30日まで。

▽スポルティング・ヒホンの下部組織出身のハビ･フエゴ。2010年夏に加入したラージョ・バジェカーノ(当時スペイン2部)では、リーグ戦37試合に出場しクラブの1部昇格に貢献した。2013年夏にはバレンシアへステップアップ。公式戦117試合に出場するなど主力として活躍した後、2016年夏に現在のエスパニョールに移籍した。

▽引退も差し迫ったスペインの守備職人は、自身7つ目のクラブとなるビジャレアルでさらなる活躍を目指すことになった。
