2020年9月にアヤックスからユナイテッド入りしてからというもの、パッとせずのファン・デ・ベーク。不遇感もあるが、出番が見込めるタイミングで負傷したりとチャンスを不意にし、今年1月に2022年1月のエバートン行きに続くローンでフランクフルトに活躍の場を求めた。
だが、ドイツでも思ったように出番を掴めず、ブンデスリーガ8試合に出場したのみに。買取オプションが付いてのローン移籍だったが、パッとしないプレーぶりとあって、フランクフルトも行使に動かず。この夏はひとまずユナイテッドに戻り、新たなクラブ探しが取り沙汰される。
そうして移籍先に挙がったのが先のラ・リーガで躍進を遂げ、新シーズンはチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)にも出るジローナだ。イギリス『BBC』によると、ジローナ行きは完全移籍になり、ほぼ完了のところまできているという。
ユナイテッドが獲得時に3500万ポンド(現レートで約72億円)を投じたファン・デ・ベークだが、ジローナが出す初期の移籍金は最低限なものに。ただ、アドオンがすべて満たされれば、ユナイテッドは1690万ポンド(約34億7000万円)を受け取り、多額のセルオン条項も付くそうだ。

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす

「後悔が1つある」カントナが“カンフーキック”事件を回顧「もっと強く蹴っていれば…」
