「もう少し自分発信で」ポルトガルで3年目、苦しみを乗り越えて藤本寛也が得たもの

育成の名門である東京ヴェルディの下部組織で育ち、2020年8月にポルトガルのジル・ヴィセンテへと渡った藤本寛也。

3シーズンを過ごしたポルトガルではレギュラーとしてプレーを続けた中、2022-23シーズンは苦しいシーズンとなった。そのポルトガルでの成長と苦しんだ3年目のシーズンについて話を聞いた。

ー3シーズン目を迎えたポルトガルでは全試合に出場しました

3シーズン目は特にチームの結果が思ったように出ず、個人としても一昨年(2021-22シーズン)に比べると苦労したシーズンになりました

昨シーズン(2022-23シーズン)は良い経験になって、下の戦い方であったり、また違った得られるものが多くて、自分のためになったシーズンでした

ー今シーズンはポルトガル移籍後初めてゴールがなかった。一番苦しんだところはどこですか?

特に監督だったりスタッフから求められるものが、良かったシーズンと違うものがあって、そこを自分として要求に応えようと色々なものを試行錯誤してやったんですが、なかなかチームも選手も苦しいシーズンだったので、大変なシーズンだったと思います

ーチームメイトとの関係も変わりました?

監督の要求も変わりましたが、他の選手とのプレーでの関わり方というのは、少し難しかったかなと思います

ー苦しい中で、どういう感じにしていきたかったでしょうか

もう少し自分発信で色々なプレーを味方の選手と繋がってやっていければ良かったです

受け身になったというか、自分から発信することが良い時とは少し違っていたので、後悔というか、改善の余地があったと思っています

ーチームメイトに対して主張できなくなった理由は何かありますか?

監督の要求と自分のやりたいことが少し違っていて、そこを他の選手に提示して良いのか、試合中に思ったことをやって良いのかという葛藤がありました。そこが難しかったです

ー周りの選手をもっと巻き込みたかったということですね

今思えば、そっちの方が良いプレーに繋がったと思うので、タラレバにはなってしまいますが、今後に生かさればと思います

今後そういう状況になった時には、もっと自分から発信していければと思っています

ー日本人選手がポルトガルでも増え、対戦も増えたと思います。日本人選手との対戦が増えたことで感じることはありますか

より日本人ということを意識するようになりました。相手にもいますし、日本にいる時とは違って気持ちが上がった状態で対戦していました

相手には日本代表選手もいますし、自分としてはモチベーションが少し上がった状態で試合に臨んでいましたね

ー日本代表選手とも対戦する中で、今後日本代表に入るために見せていきたいところはどこでしょう

もっと印象に残るようなプレーをしていけたら、そこには繋がっていくと思います

良い時のシーズンとあまり良くないシーズンでは、自分の中で違和感もあるので、良い時のプレーをもっと出せたらと思っています

ー苦しいシーズンを過ごす中、3強との対決では戦い方も変わると思います

チームは慎重になりますが、そういう時こそ大胆さが必要で、相手にプレッシャーになるし、攻撃でも守備でも与えられると思います

ちょっと守備気味に気持ちもプレーもなってしまいがちですが、そことのバランスを考えて、もっと相手にプレッシャーを与えられるプレーをしていければ、勝利のチャンスが増えていくと思います

ーまた、ヨーロッパ・カンファレンスリーグのプレーオフを戦いました。ヨーロッパの他の国のチームとの対戦はいかがでしたか

ポルトガルのチームとは全く違ったプレーや選手もいます。自分としては楽しかったですし、レベルの高いチームが集まってくるので、自分にとってもまた新しい経験が増えました

負けてしまいましたが、得られるものは良かったです

ー今後、ヨーロッパの大会でやっていきたいという思いはありますか?

自分たちはカンファレンスリーグのプレーオフでしたが、ヨーロッパリーグ、チャンピオンズリーグになるとよりレベルが上がるとなると、そこでプレーしたいという気持ちはあります

ヨーロッパの主要大会に出ていくというのは、いち選手として良い経験になると思います

ー代表や日本で対戦したり一緒にプレーした選手などはすでに経験していますが、刺激はありますか?

見ても刺激になりますし、自分が実際にやって上のことをイメージすると余計に出たいという気持ちが増しています

ーポルトガルでチャレンジしている中で、日本にいた時からの1番の変化、または変えた部分というのはどこでしょう

日本のJリーグでのサッカーとヨーロッパのサッカーは全く違うものになって、やっぱり1試合での流れは真反対と言えるぐらいです

より攻撃での自分の良いところが出せるというシーンは日本よりも増やせていて、そこは自分でも実感しています

ー特に判断スピードが必要と他の選手もよく口にしていますが、大きく違いますか?

違いますね。ヨーロッパの選手は守備でも攻撃でも前にガツガツきて、後ろを気にせずにくるので、ボールが自分に渡る時、渡る前の判断というのは増やしていかないと自分のミスに繋がるので、上げていかないとダメかなと思っています

◆履き続けるスパイク「エックス(X)」について

ー今回発表された「エックスクレイジーファスト(X CRAZYFAST)」の進化、感触はどう感じていますか?

フィット感と軽さは「エックス(X)」の良さでもあるんですが、その良さがより増えたと思います

アジリティの部分。ボールを持った時、持っていない時のアジリティは自分も助けられています

ーアジリティはポジションとしても大事なこと。こだわりや重要なポイントはどこでしょうか

個人的には軽さと、次のプレーへの行きやすさが「エックス(X)」にあると思っています

ボールを持っている時でも、持っていない時でも、今のプレーは「エックス(X)」でも良さが出ますが、2つ目、2歩目の良さという点もあるかなと思います

ー「エックスクレイジーファスト(X CRAZYFAST)」は非常に軽量化されていますが、アッパーもかなり薄くなっていますよね

人工皮ということもありますし、自分の足とボールが接着するときに、人工皮だとより薄くなるので、その薄さというのは僕個人的には好きです。素足が直接触れている感覚なので、プレーしやすいです

ーその辺りの感触は、かなり違いますか?

1回「COPA」を履いたことがあるんですが、天然皮で少し厚さがあって、ボールと足がつくときに厚さがあるので、ボールタッチはより素足感覚でやりたいなと思っています。「エックス(X)」は凄くやりやすいスパイクです

ートラップ、キックのインパクトの瞬間は結構差があるということでしょうか

結構ありますね。自分は凄く感じています

シュートに行く前の動作も「エックス(X)」だと行きやすいですし、足も運びやすく、次のプレーに転換しやすいです。とても履きやすいスパイクになっていると思います

ープレーの面ではピッチが日本とポルトガルでは全然違うと思います。スパイクが影響する部分はありますか?

スパイクは「エックス(X)」だと足がズレにくいので、そこはやりやすいですし、踏み込みの時もズレないですし、アジリティ出す時も運びやすいので、海外に居る時の方が「エックス(X)」の使いやすさがより増していると感じます。他のスパイクもフィット感はありますが、より足を包んでくれる感覚がありますね

「恋に落ちた」「本当に美しい」アルゼンチン名門のユニフォームがスウェーデン国旗にインスピレーション!ファンは歓喜と絶賛

クロースが新スパイクを試し履き自国開催のユーロに向けてか

批判も受けたドイツ代表ユニフォームに問題…ナチスの「SS」に類似との指摘を受け「4」のフォントを変更、アディダスは購入中止に
