ロナウド、バッジョ、サモラーノ!背番号「1+8」が大暴れ【ハットトリック・ヒーローズ】
サッカーにおいて、1試合で3得点以上を決めることを表す「ハットトリック」。元々はクリケットで打者を三者連続アウトにすることをそう呼んでいた。(クリケットにおいて打者を連続でアウトにすることは相当難易度が高い) サッカー選手にとって、「ハットトリック」は実力を証明する功績でもあるが、そう簡単にはお目にかかれない。この企画『HAT-TRICK HEROES』では記憶に残る「ハットトリック」を紹介していく。 今回は、元チリ代表FWのイバン・サモラーノ氏がインテル時代に決めたハットトリックだ。 <div id="cws_ad">◆背番号「1+8」のサモラーノがロナウドに負けじとハットトリック<br/><div style="margin:0 auto; max-width:100%; min-width:300px; " ><div style="position: relative; padding-bottom:56.25%; height: 0; overflow: hidden; "><iframe src="https://embed.dugout.com/v2/?p=eyJrZXkiOiJPalA1UEFodiIsInAiOiJ1bHRyYXNvY2NlciIsInBsIjoiIn0=" style="width: 300px; min-width: 100%; position: absolute; top:0; left: 0; height: 100%; overflow: hidden; " width="100%" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen scrolling="no"></iframe></div></div></div> サモラーノ氏はエースストライカーの代名詞とされる背番号「9」に特別なこだわりを持っていたことで知られる。インテル在籍時の1997-98シーズン、サモラーノが背番号9、そして元ブラジル代表FWロナウドが「10」をつけていたが、翌1998-99シーズンに元イタリア代表FWロベルト・バッジョが加入すると、バッジョが背番号「10」、ロナウドが「9」となり、サモラーノ氏はクラブから背番号の明渡しを命じられた。 サモラーノ氏は拒否するも認められず、その代わりとして背番号18のユニフォームの1と8の間に小さな「+」を加えて(1+8=9)着用していた。 そんな生粋のストライカーであるサモラーノ氏だが、1999年1月10日に行われたセリエA第16節のヴェネツィア戦でもハットトリックの活躍を見せた。 サモラーノは、FWロナウド、FWロベルト・バッジョとともに先発出場を果たす。試合は序盤から打ち合いとなり、インテルはロナウドとバッジョの2ゴールで2-1とリードする。 そして29分、ボックス左から仕掛けたロナウドがグラウンダーのクロスをあげると、走り込んだサモラーノが滑り込みながら押し込み、追加点を奪う。 49分には、ロナウドがボックス左からクロスを上げ、バッジョがダイレクトシュートを放つ。一度はGKに防がれたものの、こぼれ球をサモラーノが押し込んだ。 さらにエンドが変わった47分には、バッジョの突破から放たれたクロスをサモラーノがダイビングヘッドで流し込み、ハットトリックを達成した。 その後はロナウドにも追加点が生まれ、試合はインテルが6-2で勝利している。 ロナウドとバッジョのケガなどもあり、3人が共演を果たす機会は多くなかったが、当時のインテルが観る者に期待を抱かせるメンバーを擁していたことには間違いない。 2020.09.22 20:04 Tue

ネドベド氏がアル・シャバブのスポーツ・ディレクターに就任、副会長務めたユベントスでは9連覇に貢献
