フェネルバフチェの攻撃力が凄まじい。トルコ『Fanatik』が伝えている。

トルコ1部の名門・フェネルバフチェ。リーグ優勝19回を誇り、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)ではジーコ監督率いた2007-08シーズンにトルコ勢初のベスト8。ガラタサライやベシクタシュと切磋琢磨するイスタンブールの雄だ。
そんな彼らも17-18シーズン以来リーグ優勝から遠ざかっているが、今季は王座奪還へ視界良好。第24節を終えてガラタサライと勝ち点「63」で並んで首位に立っている。

要因としては、FWエディン・ジェコ、FWドゥシャン・タディッチ、FWジェンギズ・ウンデル、MFフレッジ、MFセバスティアン・シマンスキ、GKドミニク・リヴァコビッチといった各国代表の主力級をかき集めた昨夏の補強か。

とりわけ加入後即キャプテン就任の37歳ジェコは、ここまで公式戦29試合20ゴール7アシストと期待以上のパフォーマンス。また、ジェコ加入によってエースから控えに降格したFWミッチー・バチュアイも、ほぼほぼ途中出場ながら公式戦28試合15ゴール…恐ろしい攻撃力を誇る。
フェネルバフチェはジェコとバチュアイの2人だけで公式戦「35」ゴールを叩き出しているわけだが、リーグ戦では24試合で「63」ゴール、公式戦全体だと37試合で驚愕の「103」ゴールをマークしている。

この「103」はUEFAカントリーランキング(※1)上位15カ国の1部クラブ中No.1の数字。衰え知らずの37歳ジェコが引っ張るフェネルバフチェは、6シーズンぶりのリーグ優勝、そして来季16年ぶりのCL本戦出場へ向け、今季残りもゴールを量産し続けることだろう。

ジョゼ・モウリーニョ氏(61)がフェネルバフチェ行きに言及した。 長い指導者キャリアのなかで、ポルトやチェルシー、インテル、レアル・マドリー、マンチェスター・ユナイテッド、トッテナムなどを渡り歩くモウリーニョ氏。直近では2021年夏からローマを率いたが、今年1月に成績不振で解任された。 それからフリーの状況が続くなか、関心が取り沙汰されるのがフェネルバフチェ。すでに1年延長オプションが付いた2026年6月までの2年契約で口頭合意に達したとの見方があるなか、フェネルバフチェも交渉開始を明らかにしている。 トルコ行きが濃厚視されるなか、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)決勝の舞台ウェンブリー・スタジアムに姿を現したモウリーニョ氏はイギリス『スカイ・スポーツ』のインタビューでフェネルバフチェの指揮を問われると、こう返している。 「まだだ、まだだ。行きたいが、まだ決まったわけじゃない。正式に発表できないが、イエスだ。行きたい」 直近3シーズンのスュペル・リグでいずれも2位のフェネルバフチェはチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)に出られるが、予選から。モウリーニョ氏も「難しいね」とその事実を踏まえた上で難しさを口にしつつ、CLという大会に思いを強くした。 「フェネルバフチェの場合は8人もの選手がユーロでいないし、プレシーズンに参加できない。それは痛手。ただ、私が就任するなら、私がチャレンジ好きなのはみなさんもご存知のなず。だから、行くなら、CL出場のために戦う」 2024.06.02 11:25 Sun
