2023-24シーズンは2.ブンデスリーガ(ドイツ2部)で3位となり、昇格プレーオフに進出。日本代表FW浅野拓磨(マジョルカ)が所属していたボーフムと対戦。第1戦で大量リードも、第2戦で大逆転負け。2024-25シーズンも2.ブンデスリーガで戦うことが決定していた。

そのデュッセルドルフはオーストリアでプレシーズンのキャンプを実施。クラブの公式SNSは移動の様子をアップしている。

日本代表MF田中碧は今夏の移籍が噂されているが、キャンプに参加。U-23日本代表として長らくプレーしてきたもののパリ・オリンピック代表には選ばれなかったDF内野貴史、そしてMFアペルカンプ真大も参加している。

11日にはチームはデュッセルドルフからオーストリアのリンツへと移籍した中、空港での様子が話題だ。

デュッセルドルフ空港で飛行機に搭乗するために並んでいるところで、日本人3人は仲の良さを見せることに。田中は自分のスーツケースに乗り、内野と戯れあうなど、楽しみながら待ち時間を過ごしていた。

「え、伊東純也おった?」日本代表戦の中継に映ったまさかの人物にSNS騒然「来てたのか」「めっちゃ映ってる」

田中碧もプレミアリーグ行きか? 昇格組イプスウィッチの監督が対戦して絶賛…ファンも気に入りクラブへ圧力か

パリ五輪出場のDF内野貴史がUAE王者のアル・ワスルに完全移籍! 3年契約で背番号「19」
