ドイツサッカー協会(DFB)は10日、カタール・ワールドカップに臨む代表メンバーを発表した。
W杯2014年大会の王者で、今大会も優勝候補筆頭に挙げられるドイツ代表。グループステージでは日本代表と同居しているため、日本国内でも注目度は一層高いものとなっている。
そんなマンシャフトの26名のスカッドは概ね順当な顔ぶれとなったが、ケガで先に選考から外れることが伝えられていたティモ・ヴェルナーのほか、マルコ・ロイスも同じくケガに泣くことに。また、昨夏のユーロ2020に続くメンバー入りが予想されていたマッツ・フンメルスは選外となった。
一方でサプライズ選出も。ヴェルナーに代わり、ここまで招集歴のなかった17歳の神童ユスファ・ムココが初招集。また、同じポジションで今季のブンデスリーガで13試合10ゴールのニクラス・フュルクルクが29歳にして初招集を受けた。

ドイツ代表がメンバー変更…F・エンメチャ辞退で28歳MFプロメルが初招集【国際親善試合】

ドイツ代表に激震、77年続いたアディダスとの契約終了…2027年からはナイキに

シリア代表変更のダフードに問題…ミャンマー戦直前にチームキャンプを離脱
ドイツからシリアへの代表変更を決断したMFマハムド・ダフードに問題が生じた模様だ。 現在、ブライトンからのレンタル移籍によってシュツットガルトでプレーするダフード。シリア生まれもドイツで育った技巧派のセントラルMFは、これまでドイツの世代別代表でプレーし、2020年にはA代表で国際親善試合2試合に出場していた。 しかし、長らくディー・マンシャフトでプレー機会がなかった中、先日に以前からラブコールを受けていたシリアへの鞍替えを決断していた。 そのダフードは今回のインターナショナルマッチウィークで初招集を受け、26日に行われる2026北中米ワールドカップ(W杯)アジア2次予選のミャンマー代表戦でのデビューも期待されていた。 しかし、シリアサッカー協会(SFA)は26日、ミャンマー戦のキックオフまで数時間という状況において、同選手がチームキャンプから離脱したことを明かした。 「マハムド・ダフードは代理人から伝えられた要求に我々が応じられなかったため、今朝、サウジアラビアのアル・コバールでの代表チームキャンプを出発した。これは代表チームに影響を与えるだろう」 なお、SFAはこの一件に関する詳細は今後改めて発表するとしているが、ダフードのシリア代表での将来が懸念されるところだ。 2024.03.27 07:00 Wed

「このチームに勝てる状態ではない」ドイツ代表監督が失望、日本代表戦の完敗を認める「チャンスを生み出す手段がなかった」
