セルティックの日本代表FW古橋亨梧が、フェレンツヴァーロシュ戦を振り返った。19日、セルティックはヨーロッパリーグ(EL)のグループG第3節でフェレンツヴァーロシュをホームに迎えた。
ベティス、レバークーゼンに連敗し、グループ最下位に沈むセルティックは[4-3-3]の最前線に日本代表FW古橋亨梧を起用。立ち上がりから主導権を握ったセルティックはゴールレスで前半を終了。しかし57分、ジョタのパスに反応した古橋がドリブルで持ち込むと、そのままニアサイドを撃ち抜いてゴール。EL初ゴールを記録し、チームは先制。81分にはデイビッド・ターンブルが追加点を奪い、2-0で勝利した。

ELで初勝利を収めたセルティック。その勝利に貢献した古橋は、ELでの初ゴールを記録した。

先週末の試合では鋭いボール奪取からゴールを呼び込むなど、チームに貢献している古橋。自身のSNSを更新し、サポートに感謝した。

セルティックが新ユニフォーム発表も、注目はモデル起用の古橋亨梧に「売り物ではない」「これを着るということだな?」

ユナイテッド買収の『INEOS』にニース売却案か…検討と報道

アタランタ悲願のヨーロッパ制覇に貢献したブラジル代表MFエデルソンが、会心の一戦を振り返った。 アタランタは22日、ダブリン・アリーナで行われたヨーロッパリーグ(EL)決勝でレバークーゼンと対戦し、3-0の勝利でクラブ史上初のEL優勝を成し遂げた。 戦前にはブンデスリーガ史上初の無敗優勝を成し遂げ、開幕から公式戦51戦無敗のレバークーゼン優位と見られたこのファイナル。しかし、蓋を開けてみれば、攻守両面の強度で大きく上回ったアタランタがFWアデモラ・ルックマンのトリプレッタの活躍によって完勝した。 その優勝の立役者がルックマンであることは間違いないが、全員が強烈な輝きを放った中、とりわけ眩い輝きを放っていたのが、MFトゥン・コープマイネルスとボランチでコンビを組んだブラジル代表MF。 試合後の驚異的なヒートマップが示したように、攻守両面でピッチのほぼ全域をカバーしたエデルソンは、相手のボランチコンビに加え、攻撃のキーマンであるMFフロリアン・ヴィルツやDFジェレミー・フリンポンらアタッカー陣も完封する傑出したパフォーマンスを示した。 同試合後、殊勲のボランチはイタリア『スカイ・スポルト』で喜びを露わにした。 「とても嬉しいよ。ブラジル代表にも招集され、今はヨーロッパリーグを制することができた。信じられないよ。僕らはリバプール戦、マルセイユ戦で素晴らしいパフォーマンスを見せた。レバークーゼンがどれほど優れたチームであるかは理解していたけど、ここに来てアグレッシブに戦うつもりだったし、全力を尽くした」 「このメダルは言葉では言い表せないほど素晴らしいものさ。僕らは不滅の存在となり、アタランタの歴史の中にいるんだ」 この試合ではDFマッテオ・ルッジェーリらと共に右のシャドーに入ったフリンポンと対峙する機会も多かったエデルソン。その対戦相手は準決勝のローマ戦を含め、傑出したアジリティと爆発的な加速力によって無敗チームに質的優位性をもたらす存在となっていた。 その難敵を抑え込んだ秘訣について問われると、「彼はとても速い。僕はそれほど速く見えないかもしれないけど、必要なときは…。彼を先にスタートさせて、彼がストレートに走るか、ダイアゴナルに走るかを確認してから、なんとか彼の動きを遮ることができた。そこでは少し経験を活かす必要があったよ」と、経験、判断力を駆使して良い対応ができたと自負した。 今回の優勝に貢献した多くの主力同様に、2022年夏にサレルニターナから加入して以降、セレソンに初招集されるまでに成長した24歳MFは、「監督は、ある程度のスピードとパワーがあり、もっとアグレッシブになる必要があると言ってくれていた。今シーズンはハイプレスにも慣れてきたし、より攻撃的にもなれるようになって、それが自分のゲームに新たに加わったものなんだ」と、改めてジャン・ピエロ・ガスペリーニ監督の指導に対する感謝を語った。 なお、今回の活躍でさらに評価を高めたエデルソンに対しては、セリエAの強豪クラブやトッテナムといったプレミアリーグ勢の熱視線が寄せられている。 2024.05.23 17:00 Thu

EL優勝ならずのレバークーゼン、ジャカが連続無敗ストップにきっぱり…「最初から気にもしていなかった」
