▽リバプールの指揮を執るユルゲン・クロップ監督がアーセナルの元ドイツ代表MFメスト・エジルを擁護した。イギリス『FourFourTwo』が報じた。

▽ロシア・ワールドカップ(W杯)開幕前、自身のルーツとなるトルコのレジェップ・タイイップ・エルドアン大統領と写真を撮ったことで、ファンやメディアだけでなく、DFB内部の反感を買ったエジル。ロシアW杯でのグループステージ敗退により、さらなる批判を浴びたことで「人種差別」に対する反抗の意味合いも兼ねて代表引退を表明した。

▽その一件を受けて、ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)のラインハルト・グリンデル会長は謝罪に追われたが、以前からエジルの能力に疑問を呈してきたバイエルンのウリ・ヘーネス会長は態度を改めることなく口撃。いまだ賛否両論の意見が飛び交っている。クロップ監督は、母国ドイツで渦巻く“エジル問題”について、次のように見解を示した。

「これは絶対的な誤報で古典的な例だ。完全にナンセンスなものだ」

「政治では常に些細なことが膨らみ、大きなことが押しのけられる。普通なら、知的な人々は控えめになるものさ。正論を言うことは簡単なことじゃないからね。私自身もその人々だ。このような類いの話の中で、何も知らない奴ほどでしゃばってくる」

「イルカイ・ギュンドアンのことはよく知っている。エムレ・ジャンやヌリ・シャヒンのこともね。メストのことはよくわからないが、私は彼を故郷に返してやりたい。彼の故郷に対する忠誠心は疑いの余地がない。違いがあるとすれば、故郷がもう1つあるぐらいだ。それは問題か? 美しいことじゃないか」

「私自身、この議論は偽善だと思う。正しい情報を広めていかなかったから、悪いことが起こった。メディアも話題作りのためにこのような類いの話題に手をつけるべきじゃない。冷静になって、その人々の背後に何があるかを見つめた方が良い」

29日、アディダスとドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)はカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)に向けたユニフォームを発表した。日本代表とグループステージで同居する2014年のW杯王者であるドイツ。同じアディダスがサプライヤーとなっている。今回発表されたユニフォームは、ホームは男女の代表で共通で使用されることに。ドイツとしては統一したデザインが特別なものとなっている。 1908年のドイツ代表のユニフォームにインスパイアされ、ホワイトをベースに、中央にブラックの太い特徴的なストライプが入っているデザインとなっている。アディダスのロゴとDFBのエンブレムは中央に配置され、色はゴールド。丸首の襟にはドイツの国旗のカラーが施され、肩のスリーストライプはブラックとなっている。なお、パンツはブラック、ソックスはホワイトという配色となっており、日本代表のアウェイと同じ配色となる。また、アウェイは男子専用。今までのミントグリーンのアウェイを女子は引き続き着用する。男子のアウェイはレッドをベースにブラックの細いラインがボーダーで入った形に。アディダスのロゴ、DFBのエンブレム、背番号、肩のスリーストライプはゴールドとなっている。新ユニフォームに関してファンは「とても素敵なユニフォームだ」、「ユニフォームが素敵すぎる」、「これはどっちも買うな」、「どっちかは絶対買う」、「最高だ」とホームもアウェイも高い評価を得ている。 <span class="paragraph-title">【写真】ファンから大好評のドイツ代表W杯ユニフォーム</span> <span data-other-div="movie"></span> <blockquote class="instagram-media" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink="https://www.instagram.com/p/Ch2W0LTMNG-/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading" data-instgrm-version="14" style=" background:#FFF;
