W杯MVPは誰の手に?過去に2度目の受賞なし メッシ、モドリッチのほか3決守護神も好パフォーマンス中

ワールドカップ(W杯)の公式インスタグラムが歴代のゴールデンブーツ(MVP)受賞者を紹介している。カタールW杯も3位決定戦と決勝戦の残り2試合となった。3位決定戦では躍進を見せたモロッコ代表がグループステージで同居したクロアチア代表と対戦。連覇を狙うフランス代表は、36年ぶり3度目の頂点を目指すアルゼンチン代表と顔を合わせる。

いずれの結果はもちろん気になるところだが、各個人賞にも注目が集まる。得点ランキングではフランスのFWキリアン・ムバッペとアルゼンチンのFWリオネル・メッシが5得点でトップタイに。3位タイには同じくフランスのFWオリヴィエ・ジルーとアルゼンチンのFWフリアン・アルバレスが4得点で並んでいる。
モロッコとクロアチアのチーム得点王は、FWユセフ・エン=ネシリとFWアンドレイ・クラマリッチがそれぞれ2得点であるから、ゴールデンブーツは決勝戦を戦う4名に絞られたと言えそうだ。

一方でゴールデンボール、MVPを挙げるのは難しそうだ。
1982年のスペイン大会から設けられた同賞だが、これまでの10大会で優勝国から選出されたのは2名のみ。1986年メキシコ大会のアルゼンチン代表ディエゴ・マラドーナ氏と、1994年アメリカ大会のブラジル代表ロマーリオ氏だけだ。

また、ゴールデンブーツとの同時受賞は1982年のイタリア代表FWパオロ・ロッシ、1990年のイタリア代表FWサルバトーレ・スキラッチの2名。これまでチームの優勝、得点王、MVPの三冠を達成した選手はパオロ・ロッシのみで、ムバッペやメッシにはその可能性が残されている。また、2度目の受賞を果たした例はなく、クロアチア代表MFルカ・モドリッチにも偉業達成のチャンスがある。

前線の選手に目が向く中で、モロッコのGKボノ、クロアチアのGKドミニク・リヴァコビッチがPK戦をはじめ、好セーブを連発。守護神のMVP選出となれば、2002年のドイツ代表GKオリバー・カーン氏以来2人目だ。

W杯の公式インスタグラムは17日に「2022年の勝者は?」と、歴代のMVP選手を紹介。準決勝までのパフォーマンスでは票が割れそうな気配も漂っており、残り2戦、各選手の戦いにも注目が集まる。

メッシと妻は30年来の仲、幼馴染の2人が結ばれW杯で優勝するまで

メッシ 大好きなマテ茶のストローは7万円超えの特別仕様

マキシ・ロペスが元妻ワンダ・ナラとディナーに…かつてイカルディと不倫され離婚も「幸せであり続けて欲しい」

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

54歳バティストゥータ氏がチャリティーマッチでゴール!4年前には左足首を人工関節に置換
