先週末に行われた第33節では首位バルセロナとマドリード勢3チームが揃って勝利を手にする波乱なき一節となった。また、MF柴崎岳とMF乾貴士の日本人選手2人に関しては柴崎が17戦ぶりの先発出場を果たして勝利に貢献した一方、乾が負傷交代を強いられるという明暗が分かれる結果となった。

ミッドウィーク開催となる第34節では今節での優勝の可能性がある首位のバルセロナ(勝ち点77)と、2位のアトレティコ・マドリー(勝ち点68)の戦いに注目が集まる。

今節での優勝条件は8位のアラベス(勝ち点46)のホームに乗り込むバルセロナが勝利したうえ、翌日に行われる試合で5位のバレンシア(勝ち点52)をホームで迎え撃つアトレティコが敗れた場合のみバルセロナの連覇が決定する。なお、リーガのレギュレーションでは勝ち点で並んだ場合、得失点差ではなく当該成績が優先されるため、今季バルセロナに1敗1分けのアトレティコは勝ち点で上回らない限り逆転できない。

一方、今節での優勝を阻止したいアトレティコは前節エイバルに大苦戦を強いられながらもMFレマルのゴールを持ち味の堅守で勝ち切った。ただ、長期出場停止を強いられたFWジエゴ・コスタの練習拒否など、チームは一枚岩となり切れていない。その中で戦う今節の相手は直近公式戦4連勝と本来の力を取り戻したバレンシアが相手だ。4位のヘタフェ(勝ち点54)と6位のセビージャ(勝ち点52)と熾烈なトップ4争いを繰り広げる、モチベーション高き相手をきっちりホームで退けてバルセロナの優勝を阻止できるか。

また、優勝争いと共に注目を集めるのが、ヘタフェvsレアル・マドリーのマドリード自治州ダービーだ。前節、“躍動”したマテウ・ラオス主審のアシストもあってセビージャとの重要な直接対決を3-0の大勝で飾ったヘタフェでは、17戦ぶりの出場を果たした柴崎が両サイドハーフ、2トップの一角と3つのポジションをこなしたうえ、2点の起点となる好プレーを披露。試合の大勢が決した直後にお役御免の途中交代となったことを考えると、今回のレアル・マドリー戦で引き続き先発のチャンスを与えられる可能性は高いかもしれない。そして、鹿島アントラーズ時代のクラブ・ワールドカップで見せた2ゴールの活躍の再現を期待したいところだ。

対するレアル・マドリーは前々節に格下レガネスと低調なドローゲームを演じたが、前節のアスレティック・ビルバオ戦では絶好調のFWベンゼマが5試合連続ゴールを含む圧巻のハットトリックの活躍でチームを勝利に導いた。今節では堅守ヘタフェ相手に6戦連続ゴールを目指す。

「美しいユニフォーム」「これは好き」ドルトムントが本拠地の50周年を祝った特別ユニフォームを発表! 喜ぶファンからは悲鳴も「何枚買わせるつもりだ」

「相手に恐怖を与える赤」ストイコビッチ監督率いるセルビアがユーロ用のユニフォームを発表!アウェイは「大会で最も優れたデザインの 1 つ」

「有刺鉄線?」珍しいストライプには困惑も?前回大会8強のスイスがユーロ用の新ユニフォームを発表

チェコ代表がユーロ用の新ユニフォームを発表!アウェイは史上最強と名高い2004年のデザインをイメージ
