6月20日に開幕するコパ・アメリカ。6日、『Amazon Prime Video(プライムビデオ)』が配信することを発表した。
『Prime Video』では、これまで『Prime Video Presents Live Boxing』としてボクシングのビッグマッチや野球の『2023 WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC™』といったスポーツの人気コンテンツをライブ配信。今回、世界で最も古いサッカーのナショナルチームによる大陸選手権大会である『コパ・アメリカ USA 2024』の配信によって、『Prime Video』のスポーツラインアップに新たにサッカーを加えることになる。
2021年にはブラジルで開催されたコパ・アメリカ。アルゼンチン代表が15度目の優勝を果たし、リオネル・メッシにとっては悲願の代表での初タイトルとなっていた。

メッシと妻は30年来の仲、幼馴染の2人が結ばれW杯で優勝するまで

最終予選2連勝発進の日本は16位浮上&アジアトップ維持、15位以上は変動なくアルゼンチンが首位キープ【FIFAランキング】

アルゼンチン代表DFに性的虐待疑惑…夏のPSV移籍が目前で破談になっていた事実
エールディビジのPSVは今夏アルゼンチン代表DFの補強に動いていたが、突如として撤退。裏には性的虐待疑惑があったという。スペイン『アス』が伝えた。 PSVが獲得を目指していたのはセビージャのアルゼンチン代表DFゴンサロ・モンティエル(27)。右サイドバックを主戦場に戦っており、2021年8月にリーベル・プレートからセビージャに完全移籍。2023-24シーズンはノッティンガム・フォレストでプレーしていた。 アルゼンチン代表としても33試合に出場し1ゴールを記録。今夏のコパ・アメリカ2024も7試合に出場し決勝でも先発出場するなど、連覇に貢献していた。 そのモンティエルに対しては、PSVが獲得を目指しており、セビージャとの間では全てが合意に至っていたとのこと。しかし、移籍は実現しなかった。 『アス』によれば、契約書まで作成されていたが、モンティエルがピッチ外で大きな問題を抱えていた。モンティエルには性的虐待疑惑が持ち上がっている。 事件は2019年に起こったとされており、モンティエルが性的虐待をしていたとのこと。ただ、モンティエルの弁護士は無罪を証明する有力な証拠があるとしている。ただ、PSVはそれでは納得せずに獲得を断念。さらに、モンティエルは疑惑に対する証言のためにアルゼンチンへ向かい、セビージャを今は離れているという。 無実が証明されれば冬の移籍の可能性はある状況。果たしてどういった結末になるだろうか。 2024.09.19 20:30 Thu

「PKで試合が決まってしまった」 コロンビアとの上位対決落としたアルゼンチン、指揮官はVAR判定に憤り「改善すべきだと思う」
