【ラ・リーガ第23節プレビュー】上位陣はいずれも中位以下との対戦! バルサ&セビージャはCL控える中での一戦に

先週末に行われた第22節では8連勝中だったアトレティコ・マドリーが引き分けた一方、2位以下のレアル・マドリー、バルセロナ、セビージャの3チームが勝ち点3を積み上げてわずかながら勝ち点差を縮めることになった。

来週ミッドウィークからチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)、ヨーロッパリーグ(EL)の決勝トーナメントがスタートする中、今節では上位陣がいずれも下位クラブとの対戦に臨む。

その中で来週にCLラウンド16初戦を戦う3位のバルセロナ(勝ち点43)、4位のセビージャ(勝ち点42)の2チームの戦いに注目したい。

バルセロナは17日にラウンド16初戦で因縁の相手であるパリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)とのホームゲームに臨む。その重要な一戦を控えるチームは今節、残留争い中の16位アラベス(勝ち点22)と対戦する。前節、ベティスに競り勝ってラ・リーガ6連勝中のバルセロナだが、今週ミッドウィークに行われたコパ・デル・レイ準決勝1stレグではセビージャ相手に敵地で0-2と完敗。今季最も獲得の可能性が高いコパのタイトル獲得に黄色信号が灯っている。

セビージャ戦ではフル稼働が続くMFデ・ヨングやMFペドリ、DFジョルディ・アルバに加え、FWメッシら一部主力の疲労を感じさせるパフォーマンスが目立ち、負傷者続出の最終ラインのクオリティー不足を露呈しており、幾つかのポジションでターンオーバーが見込まれる中で控え選手たちの奮起が求められるところだ。

そのバルセロナを破ってコパ決勝進出に大きく近づいたセビージャは目下公式戦8連勝中と絶好調。17日にドルトムントとのCL初戦を控える中、今節はFW岡崎慎司擁する最下位のウエスカ(勝ち点16)と対峙する。MFヘスス・ナバスやFWオカンポスと一部主力を欠くものの、FWパプ・ゴメスらの加入によって選手層に大きな問題はなく、一部ポジションでメンバーを入れ替えながら最下位相手にきっちり勝ち点3奪取を狙う。

対戦相手のウエスカでは3試合連続スタメンを飾った岡崎が前節のレアル・マドリー戦でプリメーラ初アシストを記録するなど奮闘。2戦連続の格上との対戦では好調のFWラファ・ミルと共に、リーグ屈指の堅守をこじ開けて勝ち点奪取に導きたい。

前節、らしくない逃げ切り失敗でセルタに2-2のドローに持ち込まれた首位のアトレティコ(勝ち点51)は、8位のグラナダ(勝ち点30)を相手に仕切り直しの勝利を目指す。前述の2チームとは異なり、来週にCLの試合がない上、対戦相手のグラナダはELナポリ戦を控えている事情もあり、難敵相手といえど、優位に試合を運べそうだ。ただ、チーム内で立て続けに新型コロナウイルス感染者を出しており、今回の一戦にどの程度の選手が復帰できるかは懸念材料。そのため、直近2試合連続ドブレーテを記録するエースFWスアレスの活躍は必須だ。

ミッドウィークに行われたヘタフェとの第1節延期分を制して2連勝中のレアル・マドリーは、前回対戦で大敗を喫した12位のバレンシア(勝ち点24)を相手に3連勝を狙う。アトレティコ同様に来週CLの試合がないため、バレンシアとのリベンジマッチに全力を注げるが、DFマルセロの負傷離脱によって、さらに台所事情が厳しいチームはこの試合でも難しい戦いを強いられることになりそうだ。その中で出場停止明けとなるMFクロースには攻守両面におけるいつも通りの貢献と共に、接戦で有効となるプレースキックの場面での重要な働きを期待したい。

保有元のレアル・マドリー相手に厳しいパフォーマンスとなったMF久保建英を擁する13位のヘタフェ(勝ち点24)は、6位のレアル・ソシエダ(勝ち点35)を相手に5戦ぶりの白星を目指す。ミッドウィークのレアル・マドリー戦で途中出場となった久保だが、自身の投入直後にチームが2失点を喫したこともあり、攻撃面の低調さと共に地元メディアから厳しい批評を受けることになった。そのため、上位相手の今回の一戦ではビハインド限定の途中出場が濃厚か。自身の課題、特長を今一度鑑みてポジション奪取に繋がるパフォーマンスを見せてほしいところだ。

MF乾貴士とFW武藤嘉紀を擁する17位のエイバル(勝ち点20)は、同勝ち点で降格圏の18位に沈むバジャドリーとの重要なシックスポインターに臨む。前節のオサスナ戦では武藤がフル出場、乾が出場なしに終わった中、チームは1-2で競り負けてリーグ5戦未勝利と苦境が続く。なお、同試合では乾が主戦場とする右サイドハーフで武藤がプレーしており、今回の一戦でも両選手が同時にピッチに立てるかは微妙なところだ。

「美しいユニフォーム」「これは好き」ドルトムントが本拠地の50周年を祝った特別ユニフォームを発表! 喜ぶファンからは悲鳴も「何枚買わせるつもりだ」

「相手に恐怖を与える赤」ストイコビッチ監督率いるセルビアがユーロ用のユニフォームを発表!アウェイは「大会で最も優れたデザインの 1 つ」

「有刺鉄線?」珍しいストライプには困惑も?前回大会8強のスイスがユーロ用の新ユニフォームを発表

チェコ代表がユーロ用の新ユニフォームを発表!アウェイは史上最強と名高い2004年のデザインをイメージ
