【ラ・リーガ第8節プレビュー】CL連戦続く中、強豪は下位との対戦に!

先週末に開催された第7節では、王者レアル・マドリーが全世界注目の“エル・クラシコ”を制した他、強豪クラブではアトレティコ・マドリーを除きセビージャ、ビジャレアルが勝ち点を取りこぼす一節となった。

チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)とヨーロッパリーグ(EL)の連戦が続く間に開催される今節は、ヨーロッパの戦いに参戦中の各クラブが比較的与しやすい相手と対戦する。

宿敵バルセロナを敵地で3-1のスコアで下したマドリーは、連勝を目指してFW岡崎慎司を擁する昇格組のウエスカをホームで迎え撃つ。前節のクラシコ戦では決勝点となったPKを巡る判定が物議を醸したが、後半に守備面の修正を図って盛り返すなど、勝利に相応しい内容だった。ただ、直近のCLではボルシアMG相手に試合終了間際のFWベンゼマ、MFカゼミロの連続ゴールで辛くも2-2のドローの持ち込む低調な戦いを見せており、王者の本領発揮にはまだまだ時間がかかりそうだ。

ここまでCL2戦未勝利という中、来週ミッドウィークにインテルとの重要なホームゲームを控えており、今回のウエスカ戦ではその一戦に万全の状態で臨むため、ある程度のターンオーバーが見込まれる。その中でMFモドリッチと共に、ボルシアMG戦で好パフォーマンスを見せたMFアザールのプレーに注目したい。今季ラ・リーガ初出場が期待される中で真価を示せるか。なお、王者相手に戦列復帰が期待された岡崎はすでに練習復帰しているものの、現地報道では欠場が濃厚だという。

一方、クラシコで敗れてラ・リーガ連敗のバルセロナは、27日にバルトメウ会長含むクラブ首脳が不信任投票を前に辞任するという重大な事案が発生した。ただ、その影響が危惧されたCLのユベントス戦では前会長と確執があったFWメッシが1ゴール1アシストを含む圧巻のパフォーマンスを披露すれば、同会長の置き土産となったMFペドリも17歳とは思えない異次元のパフォーマンスをみせ、クラシコ敗戦を払しょくする2-0の勝利を手にした。

その勢いに乗って連敗ストップを目指す今節はアラベスとのアウェイゲームに臨む。DFアラウホの負傷により、センターバックの選手層に問題を抱えているが、ユベントス戦を出場停止で欠場したDFピケが復帰するため、ひとまず大きな問題にはならないはずだ。今回の試合ではようやく本領発揮のメッシと共に、ペドリやFWアンス・ファティ、FWトリンコンといった若手アタッカー陣の活躍に期待したい。

バルセロナと同様にラ・リーガ連敗中のセビージャは敵地サン・マメスで難敵アスレティック・ビルバオと対戦する。直近のCLではスタッド・レンヌを攻守に圧倒してFWデ・ヨングのゴールで1-0の勝利を収めたが、再三の決定機を逃がしており得点力不足解消には至らず。そのため、リーグ屈指の守備陣を揃えるアスレティック相手に真価が試される。

また、直近ラ・リーガ連勝中のアトレティコはCLでもRBザルツブルクとの打ち合いを3-2で制し、復調の気配を漂わせる。直近3戦負けなしと好調を維持する曲者オサスナとの一戦では直近の公式戦2試合連発中のMFマルコス・ジョレンテのプレーに注目だ。

岡崎を除く日本人選手ではビジャレアルMF久保建英がバジャドリーとマンデーナイト開催の一戦、MF乾貴士とFW武藤嘉紀を擁するエイバルがカディスとのフライデーナイト開催の一戦に臨む。

直近の公式戦3試合連続スタメン出場中の久保は、前節のカディス戦では精彩を欠いたものの、直近のELカラバフ戦では前半こそ左ウイングでのプレーに苦戦も、後半は盛り返して良いイメージを残して試合を終えている。ただ、エースFWジェラール・モレノの戦列復帰が見込まれるバジャドリー戦ではベンチスタートとなる可能性が高いようだ。

一方、前節セビージャをウノセロで破るなど、直近2勝1分けと好調を維持するエイバルでは開幕から全試合スタメンを飾っている乾の存在感が光る。対して武藤はそのセビージャ戦で出場なしに終わるなど、ラ・リーガ、チームへの順応に手間取っている印象だ。上位陣相手に好成績を収めている昇格組カディスとの一戦では直近4試合でわずか1失点の堅守をこじ開けられるか。

その他ではメガクラブを抑えて首位に立つレアル・ソシエダがセルタと、その首位チームを勝ち点1差で追うグラナダがレバンテと対戦する。

「美しいユニフォーム」「これは好き」ドルトムントが本拠地の50周年を祝った特別ユニフォームを発表! 喜ぶファンからは悲鳴も「何枚買わせるつもりだ」

「相手に恐怖を与える赤」ストイコビッチ監督率いるセルビアがユーロ用のユニフォームを発表!アウェイは「大会で最も優れたデザインの 1 つ」

「有刺鉄線?」珍しいストライプには困惑も?前回大会8強のスイスがユーロ用の新ユニフォームを発表

チェコ代表がユーロ用の新ユニフォームを発表!アウェイは史上最強と名高い2004年のデザインをイメージ
