先週末に行われた第21節ではバルセロナがバレンシア相手に新体制初黒星を喫し、バジャドリーに競り勝ったレアル・マドリーが首位に浮上。第2グループではアトレティコ・マドリーが最下位レガネス相手に痛恨の取りこぼしとなった一方、セビージャやレアル・ソシエダ、ヘタフェが順当に勝ち点3を積み重ねている。

今冬の移籍市場閉幕によってピッチ外の雑音がなくなり、ようやくピッチでの戦いのみに集中できる2月初戦。その幕開けとなる第22節は首位のレアル・マドリーと、5位のアトレティコによる、ラ・リーガでは今季2度目となるマドリード・ダービーが開催される。

前節、曲者バジャドリー相手に伏兵DFナチョの今季初ゴールで競り勝ったレアル・マドリーは16週ぶりに首位の座を奪還。また、直近のコパ・デル・レイでも格下レアル・サラゴサを4-0で一蹴し、公式戦無敗記録を「20」の大台に乗せた。その絶好調の首位チームは今節、敵地での前回対戦、先月のスーペル・コパ・デ・エスパーニャ決勝で激闘を演じた宿敵との今季3度目の対戦に臨む。現状のチーム状態では明らかに分があるものの、その2試合のスコアはいずれも0-0のイーブンとなっており、首位キープに向けてタフな試合になることは間違いない。

一方、前節最下位レガネス相手に決定力を欠いたアトレティコは公式戦連敗を「3」でストップもホームで0-0のドローに留まり、公式戦4戦未勝利と泥沼の状況が続く。また、今冬の移籍市場においては得点力不足解消の切り札として獲得に動いていたFWカバーニの獲得に失敗し、後半戦での巻き返しに向けて好材料を得るには至らず。それでも、上位2チームが決して盤石ではないことを考えれば、仮に敵地でのダービーに勝利できれば、情熱的なシメオネ率いるチームが復活の狼煙を上げて一気に復調する可能性は十分にあるはずだ。

アトレティコの奮闘を期待しつつ首位奪還を目指す2位のバルセロナは今節、前回対戦で1-3の敗戦を喫している13位のレバンテをホームで迎え撃つ。前節のバレンシア戦では圧倒的にボールを保持するものの、アタッキングサードで攻め切れず、カウンターに脆いという、以前から指摘されるセティエンスタイルの悪い部分が顕著に出た結果、0-2のスコア以上の完敗となった。

これにより、早くも新指揮官の手腕に懐疑的な見方が出始めていたが、直近のコパ・デル・レイのレガネス戦での5-0の圧勝によって一先ず批判を払しょく。ただ、今回の対戦相手であるレバンテはバレンシア同様に堅守速攻に定評がある苦手な相手ということもあり、今節でのパフォーマンスがセティエン監督の試金石となるはずだ。

第2グループでは3位のセビージャと4位のヘタフェが、それぞれ14位のアラベス、9位のアスレティック・ビルバオとバスク勢との対戦となる。前節、グラナダ相手に快勝を収めたセビージャはモンチSD主導の下、今冬の移籍市場で積極的な入れ替えを敢行しており、すでにデビュー済みのFWエン=ネシリと共に締め切り間際にミランから加入が決定したFWスソのプレーに注目が集まるところだ。

前節、セルタとの残留争いライバル対決に先発出場した乾はチームが終始劣勢を強いられた中、見せ場なく後半半ばに途中交代となっていた。今節も守勢が見込まれる古巣対決に向けてはカウンターの起点としての役割が求められる。

一方、前々節のバレンシア戦に続き前節のレアル・ソシエダ戦も大勢が決まった後半半ばの途中投入となった久保はフラストレーションが溜まる状況が続いており、ここが踏ん張りどころだ。今節も途中出場が濃厚な中で短い出場時間を通じて局面を変える働きがポジション奪取に向けて必要となる。

「美しいユニフォーム」「これは好き」ドルトムントが本拠地の50周年を祝った特別ユニフォームを発表! 喜ぶファンからは悲鳴も「何枚買わせるつもりだ」

「相手に恐怖を与える赤」ストイコビッチ監督率いるセルビアがユーロ用のユニフォームを発表!アウェイは「大会で最も優れたデザインの 1 つ」

「有刺鉄線?」珍しいストライプには困惑も?前回大会8強のスイスがユーロ用の新ユニフォームを発表

チェコ代表がユーロ用の新ユニフォームを発表!アウェイは史上最強と名高い2004年のデザインをイメージ
